Privacy Policy

le mezon is a product operated by le meson (the "seller", "we", "us"), the legal entity responsible as data controller for personal data processed through the service. We provide recipe costing, supplier intelligence, and menu engineering tools for restaurants, ghost kitchens, hotel kitchens, and caterers. This policy covers our website and the authenticated app.

• Account data: name, email, organization name, role, and authentication identifiers (including Google sign-in identifiers when used).
• Business data you submit: recipes, ingredients, supplier price lists, menu items, sales counts, and other operational data you upload or enter.
• Billing data: subscription tier and payment metadata. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: log entries, device/browser information, and counters used to enforce plan limits.

• To provide and operate the service, including AI features you trigger.
• To enforce subscription limits and prevent abuse.
• To communicate service updates, security notices, and billing information.
• To improve product quality through aggregated, non-identifying analytics.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your private recipes or supplier prices to train third-party AI models.

When you use AI features (recipe assistance, menu generation, market briefings), the inputs required for that request are sent to our AI provider for processing. Outputs are returned to your organization only. Market briefings may use public web search to assemble competitor context.

We share data only with vendors needed to run the service:

• Cloud hosting and database infrastructure.
• Authentication provider.
• AI model providers for features you invoke.
• Payment processor for subscriptions.
• Email delivery for transactional messages.

We use row-level security to isolate each organization's data, encrypted connections (TLS) in transit, and encryption at rest provided by our infrastructure. Access is limited to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure — report suspected issues to support@lemezon.com.

We retain account and business data for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, data is retained for up to 30 days to allow recovery, then deleted from production systems. Backups are rotated on a rolling schedule.

You may access, export, correct, or delete your data from within the app, or by emailing support@lemezon.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA. We honor verified requests within applicable legal timelines.

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and a minimal set of analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can clear cookies at any time from your browser.

The service is not directed to anyone under 16 and is intended for business use.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
